These mid-century modern mailbox numbers were inspired from Richard Neutra's work, where he specified lettering that was open and unobtrusive, the same aesthetic that typified his architecture. Font shop, House Industries, brings the same linear geometry to Neutraface without sacrificing a warm and human feel. House Industries began the task of adapting sign lettering to typography by consulting with Neutra's son Dion and studying the archives of acclaimed photographer Julius Shulman.

After installing my classic turquoise/white box and its angled post out by the street, I then took out my old box beside it. But for a moment, the contrast was stark. What an improvement! Nothing like it in my neighborhood (for now). Heavy duty metal, sleek design. 100% pleased.
I now have the coolest mailbox on my street. Hands down. While I was putting it up people were stopping and asking me where I got my mailbox. It has a simple minimalist look that literally turns heads. I also placed a trellis near it and planted some yellow clematis with the hope it clmibs up around the box. I couldn't be happier. I love this mailbox.
